Meeting People Where They Are

Mobile Recovery support

Seed Sower's Mobile Recovery Support Team brings the heart of our Recovery Community Organization, The Well, directly to those in need. By meeting people where they are, we offer opportunities to build community connections and explore pathways to treatment and recovery.

How it works

We are looking to collaborate with local organizations and support their efforts. While we are happy to share our ideas, we are even more interested in hearing yours. How can we best support you? How can we work together to meet the needs of your community?

Mobile Events

Local Partners

Local Partners

Typically, the Seed Sower Mobile Recovery van, along with 1-2 staff members, arrives in town for a 3-4 hour period. During these events, we provide food, water, socks, clothes, hygiene products, and risk reduction supplies. Our goal is to help individuals in need of recovery services make connections within their own communities.

Recent Events

We recently partnered with the amazing women of the Family Resource Network in Fayette County to raise visibility of recovery services. Their dynamic team made this initiative a success, and we were proud to collaborate with them!

Mobile Needs

recovery oriented systems of care

Our Mobile Recovery Initiative is grounded in the Recovery Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC) model.

ROSC is a coordinated network of community-based services and supports that is person-centered and builds on the strengths and resilience of individuals, families, and communities.

Key components:

  • Person-Centered Care: Emphasizes individualized services that meet the specific needs and preferences of the person seeking recovery.
  • Strength-Based: Focuses on the strengths and resilience of individuals, families, and communities.
  • Integrated Services: Involves a coordinated network of services and supports, including health, social, and legal services.
  • Community-Based: Engages local communities in providing support and resources for recovery.
  • Continuum of Care: Offers a range of services from prevention to long-term recovery support.
  • Peer Support: Utilizes the lived experience of those in recovery to provide support and encouragement to others.
  • Holistic Approach: Addresses all aspects of an individual's life, including physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being.

This synergy not only enhances the quality of life for those recovering from SUD but also promotes the overall well-being and resilience of the entire community. Through our Mobile Recovery Initiative, we are dedicated to bringing these integrated recovery solutions to the heart of our communities, ensuring that everyone has access to the resources and support they need for a successful recovery journey.
