Sowing Change. Harvesting Hope.

Communities of Healing

Spurring Economic Development

Seed Sower is proud to be a part of Communities of Healing, spearheaded by Fruits of Labor, one of our partners and funded by the Appalachian Regional Commission POWER Initiative.

Communities of Healing is a recovery-to-work ecosystem program designed to spur small business development and employ West Virginians healing from substance use disorder through the growth of social entrepreneurship. By utilizing a wholeness approach, we desire to create sustained Communities of Healing anchors that support economic growth while bringing those in recovery out of isolation.

Learn how your business can participate in paid employment placements. Design a business model that serves both people and creates profits in the food, agriculture, hospitality and tourism industries. Or share your insights with one of our current partners.
